Diesel-powered Carbon E7 police car to go on sale in 2012 {Autoblog Green}
Feb 7th 2009 8:19PM cut to the chase.... bad guy speeding towards a crowded part of town where your children are playing in the street on their bike and skateboard....should the police A. ram the car off the road or B. let them run over one of your kids? the fact is each time is case by case and hopefully the right choices are made and your kid lives and the bad guy's caught. ramming capability needed.

Could a hybrid MPV - based on the iQ or the Prius - be coming from Toyota? {Autoblog Green}

Once again we see a vehicle that would sell like hotcakes in the US be we are denied the opportunity. Repeat, repeat, repeat...
Detroit to get $15 billion to tide them over until Obama takes office {Autoblog Green}
Dec 7th 2008 6:09PM Democracy is dead. No incentive for GM and others to produce good-looking, intelligent, fuel-efficient, durable vehicles - just ask the socio-liberal government to bail you out every now and then. They're not failing because other car makers in other countries get government help - they're failing because of what I said in my second sentence. It's simply BS that gigantic corporations are afforded billions in bailout money just because they're gigantic. Sure it would hurt for a while if they went belly-up but in the long run everyone would be better off. New auto makers would emerge with hopefully something that can compete with the successful Japanese and others. Either you believe in a free-market economy or you don't. The bottom line is - for anyone in their 40's and up can tell you - the US is becoming more and more Socialistic and let's really watch it get crazy with Obama and all of his looney left Congressional majority. Just say "NO" to corporate bailouts and "YES" to free-enterprise where only the smartest, strongest survive.
EDTA 2008: Prototype Toyota plug-in Prius is locked, darn it {Autoblog Green}
Dec 5th 2008 8:37PM I will fall down on my knees and say, "Praise God!" when a plug-in Prius finally goes on sale! It can't come fast enough and if they are the first to market with such a vehicle they will dominate once again. This is one reason why American car companies can't survive. They refuse to create elegant, intelligent, durable vehicles that the world wants. Instead; they make squeaky, rattly, flimsy, gauge-malfunctioning, junk! ...But I am proud to be an American! : )

Jun 29th 2007 11:29PM My iPhone would be my best friend. We'd do lunch, go out for a drink after work together - and sooner or later I know we'd end up snuggled up in bed watching a movie together. You know boys and girls can never really be just friends.
