Too bad this doesn't have a car manufacturers name on it. Different company same family name. It would be like if one of Ford's family members made clothing but had nothing to do with Ford motorco.
Uh try about 5-6 years ago. That commercial was for the older D22 Frontier, the frame is much stiffer now (fully boxed).
I'm sure they do to a large degree but most people's comments seem to say Porsche automobile engineers are somehow involved with Porsche design.
uh to you uninformed these glasses are Porsche Design, NOT PORSCHE AUTOMOBILE as in a different company just same family. Move along.
After riding a global ranger(really nice bumper/lift kit too) into armed conflict(I was assisting some ANA) last year in Afghanistan. I can say nothing but good things about them and the little diesel motor they sport. It's miles better then the current offering and I'd put it on par with a Hilux. P.S. anyone at Ford want a great PR shoot of me while driving and manning a PKM welded to the bed? haha
I'd like to find some good reviews on build options for the new TDi jetta, My new sportswagon could use some better springs and maybe a tower bar but I haven't seen much yet.
I think your kinda misconstrued, the reason they kept the older models would be because its much cheaper to keep making a car that's for all intense and purpose paid for itself. Its a win win for both the common person in China (cheap) and the company. Long as they can sell it at a profit and there's demand for it why stop making it?
Maybe because it gets more then double the mileage of a mazda3 speed? Just saying...
I'd have to say Johann is right, this would be much much better then the fwd Ridgeline. A pickup off the Grand Cherokee would save a tonne of weight and probably depending on how they stiffen the frame hold near or more then the Dakota does. Even the Comanche had a better weight rating then any other small pickup of the time so don't say it can't be done. On that note, I think people want a smaller truck and the current crop is just too close too awkwardly close to being fullsize but not a small truck.
Some of us make more then $1000 a month and can afford such trivial things like a $500 gadget every odd year as well as have a nice vehicle. It sounds like the mullet/trailorpark is strong in you though, if all you dream about affording is a $12,000 old Y-body muscle car.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
