Thanks for nothing, Joystiq. I was going to rent Zack and Miri on Saturday, but it was only available for purchase and not for rental. I guess I can't trust what I read on the internet.
watching the fearless freaks on dvd in my ps3!
I stopped playing Killer Bunnies so I no longer yell at friends... that's a nice!
Buying a PS3 without my wife's permission? Naughty... definitely naughty.
Back in 90 or 91, I remember I got Phantasy Star II on Christmas morning, and I was all excited to try it out, but we had to go for a two-hour drive to see my grandparents after opening gifts. It was snowing and blowing out really bad, but we went anyway. Near the Mississippi River, the road gets really hilly and curvy, but my dad is flying along at 55 mph, not noticing when the car's tires slip onto the shoulder. I kept thinking, "So I might not get to play Phantasy Star at all?" We arrived after three hours on the road, but instead of going home that day, we ended up staying the night waiting for the weather to improve.
My dad's getting kind of old, so last year we just sat him on the couch with an ipod touch and google earth. He played with that for hours. The rest of us rocked Boom Blox.
Kurt Vonnegut hitting a friend over the head with a dildo.
You could give me Sonic the Hedgehog and a blank BD disc, and I'd be happy--I just bought a house and can't afford squat.
I'm doing a Yes-inspired concept album about the staff members at Joystiq. ROK!!!
I'm trying to figure out if "father" in the last sentence is supposed to be a hint at the storyline or something... some sort of oedipus complex, perhaps?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
