I don't know about that, I for one would opt for the cheaper, equally fast, and much better handling lotus Elise. Granted, the boxster's creature comforts will be better, but as driving experience goes, you can't beat the Elise, especially at its price point.

I've heard of a 9800 GT, a 9800 GTX, and an 8800 GS.

But what is a 9800S?
This seems like an invitation to start a flame war, but i'll bite.

Resistance = Generic FPS with some admittedly nice graphics revisions such as co-op and multiplayer

L4D = Original team based gameplay that's more innovative, enthralling, and above all, fun.

I've never found a game that could rope you in and have you as emotionally invested (for a non rpg) as L4D. That and killing zombies > killing aliens, and the characters actually have personality

L4D does have its flaws (short single player, etc.), but its an original, well made, incredibly fun game to play. Resistance is a pretty good FPS, at a time when pretty good FPS's just don't stand out anymore
For the first time, I think i found a game that makes me wish I had a ps3. That being said, with Gears of War 2 and L4D sitting unplayed on my desk, I'd say I have a few games to get through first. Oh and I'm hoping the trailers on GT were on super uber easy mode, as the guy was just standing in the open, trying to lob grenades at a machine gun turret that seemed incapable of hitting him.
ZAP already makes an electric bike, and it costs $500. I don't think its quite as fast or has as big a range, but for 1/26th the price, i'd say the lazy among us have a much better deal.

Saying Creation Vs. Evolution doesn't have a winner is up there with saying global warming doesn't exist, or no one will ever need more than 640 KB of RAM. Whether you believe in god or not (I'm agnostic), evolution is simple fact. The "evolution is just a theory" people neglect the fact that damn near everything in science is "just a theory" including (and note the name) Cell Theory. I don't know about you, but i've looked at cells under a microscope, and am pretty damn sure they exist.
Here we go, another cookie cutter 1.6ghz atom 16 GB flash netbook

Sony needs to do something to stand out, unlike the massive dissapointments from Dell and Lenovo.
How about this:
45nm Core 2 instead of atom: increase in price and battery consumption worth the massive increase in power.

Basically take the acer aspire with the 80GB hard drive and 6 cell battery, swap out the atom for a core 2 and I am all over it, even if it costs $100 more and has a half hour less battery life. Sony should love this because it differentiates them from the pack and thus lets them charge a higher price and avoid the "race to the bottom" they hate so much.
Oh yes, the whole "Republicans are more fiscally responsible" tack.
Lets see:

Last Democratic president (clinton): takes budget deficit and leaves with massive budget surplus

Last Republican president (Bush): takes budget surplus and leaves with record sized deficit.

Obama will spend more on health-care and education, but that would be more than made up for by cost savings from pulling out of Iraq sooner as well as eliminating the fiscally irresponsible Bush tax cuts. I'm a young tax payer, and love the extra cash, but know that the cost of this is a weaker dollar (sucks bc i travel a lot) and massive debt (which means fewer government services when I'm older). But go on with the "Republicans=Fiscal responsiblity" It was true in the 50's, it must be true now!!!
Forget games, for the love of good we need a good power management app.
The iphone runs so much longer on wifi or edge than 3G, so if there was an app that would disable 3G except when its needed, so that things like checking for emails and idle time would be on edge, while heavy browsing would switch back to 3G.
This app it would save me a million trips to the "disable 3G" menu
If you look at the benchmarks, theres no question. At anand's review, the 4870 beats the GTX 260 in every game except for one, while the 4870 costs $100 less. To put it bluntly, nvidia is pwned at this moment in time. the 4850 is better than the 9800 GTX in almost every benchmark, and beats the 9800GTX+ in about half the benchmarks (and is $40 cheaper than the 9800 GTX+), the 4870 is better than the GTX 260 and costs $100 less, and two 4870 in crossfire beat the GTX 280 for $50 less. Even the 9800 GX2 beats the GTX 280

Nvidia = fail for this generation
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
