Next up, wii body temp test. Insert in your anus.

LOL, what do you mean ? Like Apple iPhone with the app store or Sony with PSP Go ?

Proper Astronomy ? What do you mean, like the Hubble ? World's only optical space based telescope ?
For comedic effect the safety system should be modeled after that bouncing airbag system NASA used for its rover landings on MARS :D

Engine out, whoooooosssshhh! set of 20+ huge helium filled airbags surrounds you and you bounce to the ground, bouncing 30-40 feet into the air for a mile or two until you come to a stop (or land in a river, longer story)

heh
No thanks - I'd probably get shot down on the flight into downtown Philly.

For the umpteenth time - the volt goes 40 miles using 0 gasoline then the gas engine kicks in and keeps the battery charged for another 200 miles or so.

It is an electric plug-in with a gas engine to extend the range - an extended range plug in.

Got it ? Jeez

:P
Tesla won't have the manufacturing muscle to turn out anywhere near the numbers of cars that they could actually sell. If they were smart they'd license this design to Ford or Chevy and take a nice big fat monthly royalty check. That'd keep the US car industry afloat, stop mass layoffs and let Tesla focus on their strength - designing more cars, and maybe designing an econobox.

Trying to turn into a mass production manufacturer is going to turn ugly.
So can it work with Media Center extenders, if not are they releasing an app to allow it to be controlled remotely via an extender ? Still looking to watch Hulu content on my Living Room big screen via my networked 360.
These fixed wing "flying cars" are a dead end. Hovercraft are far more practical. I want to see a roadgoing supercharged hovercraft that can beat a vyron. Then I'll line up to buy.

Heh no more speedbumps, and you don't even need to wash the car after going through a puddle :) :)

Stupid move intel. Learn something from MS on monopolistic practices, or the EU courts will be sueing for billions. I'd keep the competition and avoid the legal gutting surely to follow if you kill off your main competitor.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
