i'm pretty sure i messed with teh D27 last week in Seoul... Since i can't read Hangul, i kept trying to figure out it it has some sort of wifi connection, and to my (lack of) suprise, it doesn't. I had a VERY hard time figuring out how to do anything on/with it, the menu system was rather complicated... and the salesperson couldn't find any way to change it to english- which you can do with every Cowon device out there.
Not really suprising, as i doubt they plan on marketing the D27 anywhere outside Korea.

Haven't seen teh W7 though.
i agree on the Playstation Store remark above- it is just horrible.

I'm at work and can't check/update mine yet- but do i understand correctly that we can make custom playlists/slideshows.... but still can't include our own music in the games? This is a feature i'd really like to see added... is it even possible w/ a mere firmware update?
"Nevertheless, aside from the larger CCD"

it's not a larger CCD. Same 1.5X (DX Format) sensor size that Nikon has limited themselves to all along, just packed tighter with more pixels.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
