choose me engadget!
I'd love this phone!
"Lappy"...ugh...honestly, who the hell came up with this idiotic moniker?
Actually, Juice is right..."lappies" sounds idiotic...
Man, I hope they're ok...
Machy,

Brian, the co-founder of Lumenlab, has stated that Sichuan Ruicheng Science & Technology (the Chinese company whose link you provided) is Chinese manufacturing partner of Lumenlab. His own words:

"It is a ground-up design but it was acheived by forming a partnership with Ruicheng to build these. Ruicheng started as a DIY projector company just like Lumenlab, so our partnership is a perfect match. The projectors are a result of joint development, and though the E8 case design is utilized, the Lumenlab branded product is our exclusive."
How come engadget didn't go with a 17" lcd? Wouldn't it have been cheaper? Besides, 17" lcds usually have a native resolution of 1280x1024, more than enough to display 720p natively.
An HD-DVD Drive, as everyone else would probably say. I'd also love to get a few faceplates. Thanks engadget!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
