Hmm.. too bad the new logo has no 'character'. I like the old one better.
I don't think it will be wise to turn off automatic updates unless you are 'on it' and get the updates on time yourself.
I don't think Navio is in legal trouble as other comments suggest. As far as I know, you will be breaking DMCA only when you try to circumvent a technology in an intention to remove DRM. DMCA has a provision to reverse engineer code to make your software interoperate. What Navio is doing is not removing DRM, but reverse engineering to study how Fairplay works and build a software that can produce a Fairplay DRM'd music/video file. This may open up additional options for consumers (like subscriptions etc).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
