Website sill says its coming Winter 2009. 1 Day left folks! All technical concerns aside, I'm concerned that you have to pay full price to 'buy' a game as well as continue to pay Onlive a subscription. Stop paying the monthly fee and you loose all your games.
90% energy loss in under a meter? Seems like a horrible waste of power to me! Hope they can improve the efficiency.
@Alex R
Relatively speaking, 13Mb is still loads, but no good when I'm paying a ton for 50!

@The rest of ya
Didn't realise the issue was with the phone, thought it was purely a bandwidth issue.
@kris120890
It's fiber optic to a box in the street and copper to the house. It's defiantly an oversubscription issue as we used to get the full 50Mb. Then all the students moved into the area....
@cherryboom
Seriously can't stand it when companies do this. My 50Mb connection currently runs at 13Mb. Why? Because Virgin Media won't upgrade their hardware as their user base grows.
Maybe they should, I dunno, ensure their network is capable before oversubscribing it?
Little heads-up to UK folk:

@Dreamscape86 Massive experiments like this 'for science's sake' nearly always lead to advances in our technology and understanding. It was Tim Berners-Lee who invented the world wide web while working at CERN; an organization dedicated to pure scientific research
@Vcize Windows Home Server has a feature which pools all the hard drives (any brands, capacities, etc) into a single location. Means you can add extra drives whenever they're needed. Redundancy is done simply by selecting which files you want protected, these files will be stored on all drives attached.

Wikipedia explains it better: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Home_Server#Drive_Extender
For $1500 you could build yourself a Windows Home Server box with 15TB worth of drives. Drive Extender would take care of the redundancy
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for the best geotagging camera currently available. The most important feature for me is the accuracy of the GPS module, so any hard specs on satellite receiver would be really useful. Thanks for your time!"
