i think the question we all need answered is:
how much?
This is an awful idea. What if the guy ahead of you is about to get into a horrible accident but misapplies his brakes ( due to stupidity, being drunk, or being scared poopless )? You've all heard about the morons who follow gps navigation equipment off cliffs, now they can follow the people ahead of them into accidents. With solid state breaks, you see when the person ahead of you is braking, and have to use your wits to figure out if you need to use your own brakes, and how much pressure to apply. People need to be more involved in dangerous activities, the more removed they are, the less attention they will pay.
The coby would make me a happy man
You've heard of the iPhone, right?
does it have a touchscreen? i don't see any buttons to play games with.
just spend a little more for a psp. it can do all that with homebrew, plus it has great, graphics intense games.
I'd use mine to make all the iPhone-less Apple fanboys jealous while rocking to my tunes.
i give it three days before they hack the new update, the last update was done for in two days
not only is it ugly, but way larger than it needs to be
there's already a commercial product that does this without the goop and all the wires that's coming out in 08
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
