Maybe he actually likes his family?
LD sort of dealt with wheelchairs before, on Seinfeld...

There was an episode of Seinfeld where George parks in a handicap spot, a woman in a wheelchair breaks her wheelchair due to it, so Kramer and George buy her a new one (used, of course), and it's brakes fail while she's rolling down a street. Classic.
Wasn't that hallway that Pete meet the nanny in the back door which leads to the garbage chute and probably the freight elevator? That's where they would store boxes, bikes, and stuff they don't want to throw out but don't really have room for in their apartment.

The doors were black, but when the neighbor came to confront Pete about his activity while they were away, I thought his door was wood.
I live and work in Manhattan and have worse results than the dude in the story. Only about 50% of my calls go through at all, and of those, about 50% get dropped. I could never make a 10 minute long call, regardless of forcing edge or 3G.

I happily paid the $125 ETF and now have a BlackBerry on Verizon. It may not have the cool factor of an iPhone, but it does have one really cool feature...IT CAN MAKE FREAKING PHONE CALLS!
Best line of the season: "She's like like Joe Pesci with tits!"
I especially like the fact that the show makes several NY Giants references and then has Kate Mara in it.
I didn't think there was anything wrong with my network connection, but I checked using AP Grapher before the update, and after, and after the update, my TX rate is much steadier, and all lines are much smoother compared to before the update.
I'm with you...with the way the music was playing and the slow-mo shots of the fire at the end, I fully expected someone to become injured or even die.

Garrity was hilarious this week.
Oh, Chuck me.
Actually, being from Ireland, O'Mara probably had a harder time doing an Irish accent that the director wanted him to do. Remember, he has to create a thuggish Irish accent that a New Yorker would fake, not an authentic one.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
