I am a Sophomore at NCSU and could desperately use some new equipment!
Christy answered when I called her!!

BWAHAHHAHAHAAA
This kinda sucks. I'm happy for Apple. I was first in line for both the iPhone and iPhone 3G and I love them, but I was looking for something new and was looking forward to the Pre.

Hopefully this doesn't delay release. (Not that we know when that is anyway)
BlackStorm Storm?

or BlackBERRY Storm?

just like when people call the iPod touch the iTouch...

except its wednesday the 9th?

(just saying)
hopefully by 2009 we'll have LTE and we won't have to worry about the GSM/CDMA debate since most carriers will be LTE...

Verizon (which is merging with Alltel to form the largest network in the US), will be using the same technology as AT&T. Does this mean that, if unlocking phones will still be possible, that you can really use the iPhone on ANY NETWORK IN THE FUTURE?!?!?!?
You should be able to remotely share it using Bonjour just like the current AirPort Disks.
HORDE!!!
I can't wait to go to NC State! I want to work on stuff like this!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
