Ahem: http://blog.twitter.com/2008/06/twitterapple.html -- straight from the li'l bird's mouth.
A-hem. Not based on the *novel*, but on the *non-fiction* book of Saviana; for what he wrote in the book, he's now under police protection (having been threatened more than once).

The movie also had to be filmed with a heavy armed presence to prevent backlashes.
Question: rather than bitching on how Sonic *could* be unplayable on a click wheel, can anyone download the game for real and confirm it to us once and for all?

Thanks :D
Hurray for Italy's insular dubbing community -- nobody would ever think of removing Accolla from Homer's role, or anyone else from the cast. They've done a mighty fine job with the movie too.

(And by every standard, they have done a great job of living up to the original on every single episode in the series in the last eighteen years.)
They have USB ports too.
Technically it's incredible. Bundle propagation and auto-upgrade; the whole concept of the Journal; or even just the signing antitheft mechanism. They're well-thought and they could actually be the base for easier "serious" computing platforms in the future.
Note that the starter pack SKUs is already in shops and has been for quite some time (60g, Motorsport, Resistanve and two Sixaxis).
I just cannot understand why they wouldn't launch in the Country of Too Many Cell Phones (ie Italy). Four vendors, three EDGE *and* four HSDPA networks...

Stupid corporate bickering >_

... please...
Attention: in some countries (eg. my "beloved" Italy) you have to pay the SIAE (local RIAA) for "performance rights" for ringtones, which are paid for by ringtone providers but not when you pay a song for your personal use.

(Yep, it pretty much sucks here.)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
