Taijia's do-it-all PSP-860S handheld looks, smells cheap {Engadget}

Jul 26th 2008 12:27AM for $60 i actually think its not bad! i mean, how many other crappy forgetable mp3 players cost that much and only have 1 gb and a usb plug? this is also packing games, av, micro sd, and a cam. i think its cool. but i still wont be picking one up. only reason being that i already have something that does all this. its called my cell phone. and unfortunately for taijia, i think most other people already have one too.

LEGO gets into classrooms with WeDo robotics systems {Engadget}

Jul 26th 2008 12:14AM i think hispanic workers at lego were making fun of those white kids when they named the system. lol. "wedo robotics systems"

Sirius and XM merger approved by FCC, extreme partying commences {Engadget}

Jul 26th 2008 12:05AM just because there will be one unified sat radio company doesnt mean there is no other competition. they still have to compete with free services like am, fm, and also HD radio. not to mention streaming radio and daps. i have a couple friends who just bluetooth streaming radio from their phone to their car stereos. personally i just bluetooth my mp3s to the car. sat has to compete with all these other forms of audio entertainment, most of which dont require monthly subscriptions.

AMD denies report it plans to sell off manufacturing operations {Engadget}

Jul 25th 2008 7:36AM maybe they should just sell off their CEO-interview-operations?

AT&T, O2 post updates on iPhone 3G stock situation, promise they don't have a secret cache {Engadget Mobile}

Jul 25th 2008 7:10AM there has to be another way and they just didnt know how to do it.

because what happens if someone never comes to get it? they have to just cancel it out as never picked up at some point. seems like they couldve just done that.

Jul 25th 2008 7:08AM lol! its crazy when u think about it, isnt it?
but thats just how "the system" works.

you now caused att to have a "returned" phone.
it is going to be re-born one day as a "refurbished" iphone thanks to you.
:oP

you wouldve been better off selling it to the guy for cash instead of returning it. got a premium for him not having to get a contract. on ebay theyre also selling for more than u paid + any etf. shoulda resold it.

Jul 25th 2008 7:04AM umm what is there to be surprised about?

theres like 10 apple stores and 10 million att stores.
(exaggerating of course, but u get the point)

of course if you have fewer stores there will be larger quantities and if you have more stores there will be fewer quantities.

you would be surprised at how much of the general population doesnt even know there are apple stores! most peoples first thought would be "i need a new phone, i will go to the phone store to get it."

Jul 25th 2008 7:00AM ya they should have told you it would reset your vm. but why did you go to the store? just follow the prompts on your phone and it will walk you through setting it up. you have to actually listen to what it says instead of just hanging up as soon as you hear the recording. theres nothing to resolve except following the setup prompts on your phone. and no, there is absolutely no way for them to get your greeting or messages back.

Samsung's i8510 INNOV8 gets official in Europe, shown off on video {Engadget Mobile}

Jul 25th 2008 6:54AM that thing could have 800 megapixels and it wouldnt matter. i use my phone for texting, and keypads like that are a b---- to t9 on. i prefer individual buttons. something as seemingly minor as that ruins a phone for me. i was all excited about upgrading from an lg cu500v to a Z9 until i tried to type my first text on it. (thats also what keeps me from touchscreen phones).

but thats just me. im sure otherwise it would be a great phone. and save the jokes about my lg and z9. lol. im not laying out any big bucks until i have a chance to try some android phones.
