Ha - yeah - that was a brilliant observation! REAL clever! ;-) haha
DAMN...be careful while weighing...wish this had an edit button. :-(
You have to be careful why weighing though - It might bitch slap you, punch you, bloody your nose and lip and throw you out of the kitchen if you question it about being with other kitchens.
Wow. That is so friggin' cool! I'd love to make pants and/or a shirt of of this! Just - wow!
I know its expensive and I probably won't have one (at this price anyway) - but if I had a bunch of adapters this could be handy. I have 4 computers in my house. 2 are personal (a desktop and a notebook) - and iMac for my home based business and my regular 'day job' notebook. Everything, except my personal desktop, is connected to the internet via wi-fi. I have thought about getting a NAS and attaching it to the router and backing up that way - but that'd be another set of cables and cords - and I don't necessarily want it to be where I have my router.

This sounds like a nice, creative solution to issues I have tried to solve myself - however, given the price and the speed of it - I really can't find myself justifying the purchase. Again, because I could just get a NAS with faster speeds, more storage and cheaper price.

But I think its a step in the right direction.
Why would they announce a Wii-HD - even if it is in the works?

It'll be the same thing that happens when they announce a new model car with a new design and capabilities will be available in a few weeks.

Sales stall - sputter out in fact - in anticipation of that new product.

Nintendo is not going to give ANYONE a reason to stop buying their product.

Personally - I think they'll introduce new colors for maybe a year or so - with the new color - perhaps an HDMI option or something - not a major release like an entirely new model. Sort of a progression like what we saw from DS to DSi - like, slightly faster processor, more internal memory, etc.

And if they do it - they certainly aren't going to tell us - or else risk stalling sales in anticipation of the newer, better, faster, different colored model.
What the hell was confusing about it?

I mean - to me - he's at home...and he's getting ready to leave. And they can't come with him.

But now - all those things he has at home (Word, Outlook, Twitter, MSN Messenger) can now come with him - thanks to "WindowsPhone".

Is it that hard?
@ Kevin - Its just incredible really. Even IF they used RAID 0 - there should have been some sort of backup. Again, like a TBU or a Cluster or something. Its hard to believe that this type of data wouldn't have been in some sort of a data center. You know, in case one of the servers goes down - the other, off site server does an auto-failover and then get the primary up again and copy the data back over...Not only does this hurt their customers - but it hurts T-mobile - and a PR nightmare. Just - wow. LOL - I had companies with 50 of fewer employees that had backup's better than that!! They knew that their data was their life. And if it was gone - they were toast.
You know, I worked for Dell for a LONG time in sales for the Business division. For even the smallest of companies we suggested a disaster recovery option. It didn't matter how big or small - but SOME sort of disaster recovery. I just can't believe that they don't have a cluster set up or some sort of redundancy. Just incredible really.
I think having DRM content is fine - just like you said. However, that DRM content should be able to be moved around from player to player or computer to computer.

For instance - I'm one of those guys that downloads a lot of music. I want to be legal about it because - well, that's just me.

So, years ago I had joined Napster with my Dell DJ 30. Then later when I got my Phillips GoGear 4gb - I downloaded from Rhapsody. I then had to delete all my content from Napster - because Rhapsody didn't use the same type of DRM and wouldn't read it.

Then I decided to get a Zune 30 - the Brownie as I (and others I found) called it. Now I got the Zune marketplace. Now I have a Red Zune 8 and the good thing is - I can use the same songs I had on the Zune - but I'm locked into using a Zune for that music.

I think it'd be great if I could buy a subscription from Microsoft and download whatever I want - and put it on my iPhone.

But, of course Apple/Microsoft/music industry won't allow that.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
