You're proud to pay higher prices at other stores that buy their goods from the same place that Wal-Mart does? I'm proud to say you're an idiot for making the comment.
@Kurian

I don't neccesarily agree. I was a big fan of the original XBOX and loved Halo 1 & 2, Need For Speed Underground, NCAA 06, etc. However, I just got a Wii because its affordable and fun as hell... so far I have the Nintendo exclusives (Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, Zelda) but I am getting NCAA 09 today and from the reviews, it looks great.

I don't really need my game system to be the "center of my digital world." That's what a computer is for and it hooks up just fine to my stereo and TV if I need to play music or do something else. I'm of the mindset that my gamesystem should be fun, which the Wii certainly is. I would no doubt think about getting a 360 or PS3 if I was not a poor law student (if not just for the Blu-Ray player in the PS3), but for now, I'm having a great time with the Wii.

Just my thoughts.
It would seem that every community should have a test if not several tests. That way everyone affected would have no excuse not to be aware.
So when will Charter add CBS HD back to the lineup in St. Louis? Hmmm... probably never. The fight between the two has gone on two and a half years now? I have to imagine this is only hurting CBS. Oh well, I don't watch Survivor anyway but I'm sure my mother will be annoyed.
Anyone know how the Versus-Golf HD channel allocates their programming? I guess they just broadcast whatever feature event they have in HD and hope that they dont conflict in the time slots? I suppose most NHL games are at night while golf is during the day.
Watching a recorded show isn't using any bandwidth, so i don't see why not.
You were watching/recording on 2 HD streams 10 years ago?
Looks like someone on page 5 of that link I gave above has posted a screenshot confirming that they have 2 HD streams.
Uverseusers.com reported that the 2HD / 2SD stream capability was released in St. Louis today (4/30). All new installations will apparently get it while existing customers will be phased in over the coming weeks. Here is the link...

Unfortunately, I can't personally confirm until my installation on 5/17 here in StL.
Yes, my 1520 was suppose to ship 7/26, then got bumped to 8/2. I contacted a customer service rep who told me:

"At this time, there is not a particular component that is causing a delay. I don't know if that was the case prior to today. Last week, our manufacturing group went to twenty-four hours in production to get the systems out as quickly as possible. I'll keep my eye on your order, and I will relay any further information to you."

Hopefully they'll be shipping soon.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
