Nokia N97 review: a tale of two bloggers {Engadget}
Jun 22nd 2009 5:23PM check out the N86. I bought my N73 for the photo capabilities at that time - now the N86 is the best _on the market_ for photo, the first w mechanical shutter.
Apple moves one million iPhone 3G S units in a weekend -- just in time for Steve's return {Engadget}
Jun 22nd 2009 11:21AM Don't forget that ATT was sponsoring the introduction of iPhone. Compare you prices with a whopping 720 EUR in Italy for an unlocked iPhone 3GS. (+20% compared to 3G, btw)
As much as I think ATT seems to be a weak tech link here, they have still allowed Apple to experiment and go ahead w features which ATT never allowed others to bring to their network.
Once Apple goes to more and more carriers, they will experience more and more tech problems also, lengthen the testing time etc.
LL Cool J's hilariously aggressive N97 ad: "don't call it a comeback" {Engadget}
Jun 15th 2009 2:48PM @Paul Miller:
"The song chosen is from LL Cool J (given name: James T. Smith), an iconic 24+ year veteran and legend of Hip Hop music, and the song is a 1991 release in response to media and competitors claiming he was too old, washed up, and irrelevant."

I think it's funny, that a company has a sense of irony, is willing to voice it also and does not have a stick up their arse (and delete whatever negative comments show up in forums, for example).

Jun 15th 2009 2:42PM I like when a company has irony and is willing to play on it:

Nokia Grouper, Mako, Snapper, and Thresher rolling deep on AT&T {Engadget}
May 25th 2009 1:07AM Of course, they are stealing from Apple, that's obvious. Like the Nokia N81 with "rectangular corners, chrome bezel, and reflective surface" - http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2007/08/29/nokia-n81-hands-on/
(from 2007)
Nokia Grouper, Mako, Snapper, and Thresher rolling deep on AT&T {Engadget}
May 25th 2009 1:03AM I'm pretty sure it's not Nokia coming up with the names - Nokia has Finnish codenames for the phones, or international ones, like Merlin. I guess these are the actual AT&T names?
(Although, it would be cool for Nokia to drop the numbering and just name their series finally, like N, E, Basic (1xxx), Music-series (5xxx)).

May 25th 2009 12:59AM maybe the Nokia N97, then?
