I was actually in Minneapolis this weekend for an event, and heard about this while scanning emails and was absolutely blown away by this. As a former writer for TV Squad and AdJab, I knew Adam really well and had the pleasure of working with him for years. I'm really going to miss his wit and the way he put things together and looked at them, always making me - and his readers - laugh.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Adam's family, the folks at Weblogs, Inc. and anyone else Adam touched.
Not in love with iToner just yet. Running the demo tonight, and out of about 50 songs I tried, I got one to successfully load onto the iPhone without a problem. It gives an error message that vanishes before I can read it, and there's unfortunately no commentary out there just yet or details on the FAQ. Theoretically, this will work really well, just haven't had any luck with it.

Would prefer to use the Google Code chunk, and can see how easy that is, but there's no information on how to manually update the Ringtoneplist file at all, which seems to be what iToner is doing for you, hence it showing up. Moving right along...
Just because the episode didn't have everything I would have *liked* to see happen is why I didn't think it was "perfect." That said, I thought it was the best, or at least very close to it, episode of this particular season. We had a great turn in the plot of the show, and it's a fantastic uptick on the way towards the end of a series. You find me a "perfect' episode of anything and I'll eat my hat.

That said, there are plenty of "two thumbs up" reviews that reviewers you probably like have given film or whatever and they weren't "perfect" films.
@Cody - something odd happened when this was made live, I think I've corrected the bulk of it, but two or three sentences were completely thrown into a loop. Thanks for pointing it out, all.
#5, it's not that he's broke, it's that he has to move cash around from his "pocket money" in order to pay him back. It was around $200k, I believe, not $175+ million - he had only been paying around $3k/week in vigorish on the cash, so he hadn't lessened the flow at all.
Bash - I wasn't calling it a plothole as much as that if you think about it, maybe it's that Foreman's father didn't mention anything having to do with God because he truly valued being with his son in this way, rather than pushing him away in the past. After the many years of issues between father, mother and son, maybe he thought that his wife's life wouldn't be much longer, and that he thought it worthwhile to act this way. Hell, he even said something to his wife about it.
@const, I know exactly why Paulie did what he did. The point of what I said had nothing to do with that, it was that his statements weren't echoed by the team, and Tony had a lot of respect for Johnny. Doesn't mean that what he said, if it's "payback" for what Johnny did earlier, is acceptable.

As for those two at the premiere, I did catch them on the re-pass of the show, the point there was also that after the amount of storyline they were up to last week, that they didn't have more this time, it just seemed like a huge line had just fallen off.
I love when it's bad that a blog linked to something and bombed it out. Always fascinates me for some reason.
I'm not so sure he couldn't have gotten the first eight episodes, frankly. Big people in big places have more access than the rest of us, methinks.
You're spot on, Andy. I think I was more rapt by the violence on television thing, and I stand corrected, made an adjustment to my earlier point. Wasn't so much wishful thinking as it was the point about violence on television and how it's going to get a lot of people surprised, even if it is on at 9pm (well, 8pm this week). That was the direction I was really attempting to go here than anything.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
