Ok, now it works and I can order online through the apple store. Maybe a cookie got in the way? Still no serial only though but I can't really be bothered by that.

Anyone knows if these products are multilingual? I've got OS X installed in English and don't want any French applications on it as I'm Dutch (and well, just to complicate matters, we'll be moving to god knows where in another year or so).
Darn'it. Downloaded the stuff and love it but I can't buy anything over here in Europe yet. Not even a serial through Apple's webstore - that's in the US only and I can't pay with a European creditcard. Now that's a bummer - after 30 days I have to wait another month before it hits the stores sometime in October over here...
Heck, I'd better sell my 5D, reading that I have a serious vignetting issue that both I and my clients failed to notice these past 12 months...
Thanks! Bought it @ 23:59, just in time!
Adobe has stated this will be the official presentation of CS3 but NOT the official shipping date which will be somewhere in spring...
Did you read the translated page? Apparantly both devices come with, and here I quote, "64 Mo of ROMANIANS". Gotta have a huge car to fit 64 million Romanians into it.

jddji, you can laugh your brains out for all I care - and I really don't. Having rugged memorycards that are even machinewashable (yep, things happen), can stand moisture and even rain (just like a pro-camera) and will handle anything that's done to them might seem unimportant to you but for a lot of photojournalists (that do their work outside of fancy american cities) is pretty much important. But I guess you wouldn't mind losing your shoot from say elections in Congo or war in Israel because you cheapened out on your memorycards...

On the other hand, you'd be nuts to use anything less than a weathersealed pro-body for those occasions. Which are just as much alive as the memory-cards they use. CF that is.

Moron.
First, all you folks yelling at or in support of the kit lens - why don't you shut up till the lens is actually there and has produced the first results? Only then will you know if it's decent or not. We're getting sooooo bored with unsubstantiated talk.

SD seems like an odd choice for an otherwise great camera. It might be as fast or faster but isn't CF far more rugged? Not sure though...

All in all: great replacement for the D70. Congrats to the Nikon users!
Andrew, I enjoyed your website. Whose Canon did you borrow? ;-)
In the end it is a tough decision to make. Don't take the things I wrote way back up there too seriously as I was only hanging on the breaks to give another view. I hate it when people in a clearly biased way say that one brand or another is clearly superior.

The Nikon D50 clearly has its virtues when looking at the price level, the D200 seems to be an interesting camera, solidly built, and if the D80 gets rid of the D70's noise problem it should be a hit as well. Then again, I like Canons line-up as well. Have both the 5D and 30D and they produce some lovely images. I shoot a lot of low light and that's where especially the 5D shines. The amount of megapixels is far less important to me.
It's like Joe said: no matter the amount of money you spend on your gear, it is allways possible to produce shit with it! However, if you spend more, you know who to blame for it ;)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
