Argh, come out with it in the US already. This is the notebook my boss is wanting.
Dell, I really-really-really hate your configurators.

Why can't I select Windows 7 64bit? If I select 4 gigs of memory, I don't want .5 of it sitting around useless. Is there even a reason its only limited to 4 gigs?

No SSD option?

Why can't I have "no security software"? Your giving me one more highly tendriled thing to uninstall.

And with the no HDMI thing its a non-buy. My boss told me to get him a new notebook yesterday and I almost pulled the trigger until I remembered that he wouldn't be able to use his AT&T express card modem. Then I see this today and go "good deal, this ones got what he wants". Then a "damnit" upon further inspection.
Prevx, that's why they came up with the fix.
From what I've read other places, its only affected machines that have this one security scanner installed. Because this one security scanner didn't write their installer properly and so their service stalls out upon boot. Not exactly a doom and gloom Microsoft problem.
As a N800 owner, who chuckled at the N770 owners, to then shortly afterwards be chuckled at by N810 owners, who are now all chuckled at by N900 owners. I'll wait till the N930 or whatever they'll put out so I can chuckle at N900 uses who'll have the unsupported OS/device.
I saw about the "requires 9.11" and went "wow, that's the first I heard about Anandtech being behind in drivers". I jumped on ATI's site and found that only 9.10 is available for download. Guess I won't be testing 10.1 either.
Uhm, are those bowling shoes?

It'd be a heck of a lot more impressive in high heels.
At least it could say "By your command"
If the panel had haptic feedback and another ridge at the bottom to switch to keyboard mode I would love it.

Is this thing another *nix, or a shell for windows?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
