Forget about the content for a minute; that's a great looking mount. Anyone know who makes it?
"It is marginally smaller in weight and size than two bars of gold."
The expected familiarty of their clients with the weight and size of two bars of gold speaks volumes.
You can get swine flu from eating pork is someone with swine flu sneezed on it before you ate it. But of course, it doesn't come from the pork itself.
How are the guards supposed to update their facebook status if their iPhones are jammed?

Oh yes, WiFi of course!
I agree with the slimplayer suggestion. Also, iPeng for iPod Touch or iPhone makes a great remote. $149 for the player and $9 for iPeng provided you already have the iPhone.

some janky USB drive... I love it!

Seriously, I suppose they won't support using a janky USB drive for anything!

Personally I use a Drobo connected to my airport extreme. If that method fails, I can always connect via USB on a fixed mac. The backup files should still be fine. Really important files get backed up to .mac though.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
