I was the one who set up my sister's new Dell laptop, and I got six of these right out of the box. I'm surprised I haven't memorized Microsoft's long-standing logo!
An Intel based Mac OR a hackint0sh. lawl
My friend and I were talking, and this is what we came up with:

"A system, for mobile devices, which will allow the end-user to speak directly into the device, and via software translate the audible syntax of the user into text to be sent in SMS messages."

I like the idea [not]. It would be just like talking, except with no emotion. And with lots of extra time wasted. :)

The feature I most look forward to on the iPhone is the multi-touch technology. It seems like it will be really useful and neat to use.

Hmmmmm

What kind of man gets two Zune tattoos? This guy. I'd say he's pretty famous, supporting Microsoft like this. The Zune is no iPod killer, but it does work exceptionally well. I can see backing it.

I personally prefer a triple-boot system.. Apple OS X (when Leopard arrives, I'll have that), Windows Vista Ultimate, and Fedora Linux. All three platforms have their pros and cons. When I feel like being creative, I swing over to OS X, when I feel like working, Windows, and when I feel like learning command line, Linux.

Pardon me, Zoundguy. You are correct, the book's name is "Revelation."

@ Bloobie

I compare this to people who thought the American Civil War WWI, WWII, the Cold War, and other wars in history were the end of the world. Unfortunately something will mark the end of our world one day. Just like one day some technology will replace paper and plastic (i.e. credit cards; countries who have gone to hard plastic instead of paper bills). Of course RFID tags are weak now, and it is the concept that displeases me. Look around you, see what is going on: electronics are becoming smaller.. and smaller.. and smaller.

@ Elliott

again, the concept. "Any sort of tracking device."

When electronics replace paper, I won't take an implant.
I dislike the whole concept of implanting any sort of tracking device into a human. I understand that in some situations, it would be wholly acceptable to do so (such as in the context above), but this seems to be an issue discussed in the book of Revelations. I would never willfully consent to being constantly tracked by any government or organization. I have a strong negative view on this issue, whatever the benefits may be.
I like these contests
I read Engadget pretty much every day. In fact, it is my home page.
@D.B.

Perhaps I should have put "a legal RECENT machine" instead of "legal machine." Sure, there are older Macintosh machines which can operate the current version of OSX, BUT I don't want an non-recent machine.

Saying "I modded my Apple TV to run the most recent version of OSX" is way cooler [in my opinion] than saying, "Yeah.. I installed the most recent version of OSX on a.. well.. G4..."

I suppose I should have omited "WHOOOOO" and "FINALLY!" from my prior statement, though. Good point D.B. I commend you on your ability to observe. I apologize to you and all who read this for being so 'unclear.'
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
