lol thats exactly what came to mind at first... First the 2nd man of the Taliban says he loves his iphone now this..
that's it? Its over?

im disappointed.

whatever ill go back to reading anything i can find about the PRE now.
You realize that the HORRIBLE subsidy based model of mobile service is only prevalent in North America right? In Europe and Asia people buy their phones and service seperately and therefore your argument is completely false, Symbian phones are not given out for free.
@jason

since when has piracy ruined a platform? There are MILLIONS of pirated Microsoft Office being used, same with windows. MOST people will choose to buy it from the appstore, not really choose but they have too since they dont know how to do anything else. I agree that you should pay for an app if its good and you deem it worthy, i just dont see how piracy alone can ruin the iphone platform.
i dont think he meant the PRE is the first phone with it, but that PALM was the first company to do it. I believe him.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
