I hope this movie doesn't suck.
But with Paul W. S. Anderson at the wheel...
I hope it's not as bad as Deathrace 3000 will be.
I was planning on being 1337 by beating FF12 before it came out, but, while it's not a bad game, it's not a good FF game.
That game plays best if you don't try and play it like all the other FF games, and that saddens me.

I've played about 6 hours, and don't plan on finishing it any time soon.
kledger, how about Psychonauts: Episode 1 ;)

If psychonauts sells well on steam, who knows what'll happen?
How about Marathon for XBLA? Show the Halo fans what they missed.
Marathon Infinity on Aleph One is still one of my favorite multiplayer games.
"everyone around the planet collectively dropped their jaws in awe and drooled at the incredible gameplay"

When I first started playing halo single player, the game really didn't stand out to me as "incredible".

"Substandard" was really went through my head as I played through the campaign with my friends. Of course they had never played many FPSses before that, and they were enthralled for some reason I still don't understand.

I remember saying to my friends something like
"I wonder if we'll have to kill more waves of covenant and flood in the next room. OH YAY we do!"
and...
"Wait... haven't I seen this room already like an hour ago... and two hours ago... hmmm."

That game is so slow, it just bores me to tears.

Multiplayer is substandard too, Especially when compared to the Marathon series, the precursor to Halo. Now that's some fun multiplayer right there.
I would like games yet-unreleased in America first. Star Ocean, Seiken Densetsu 3, Dragon Quest 5 and 6.

FF7 wasn't that good of a game, but a FF6 remake would be awesome.
I'd like to see sqeenix release some more unreleased-in-america RPG classics for the DS with enhanced graphics.
Like Star Ocean 1, Dragon Quest 5 and 6 and Seiken Densetsu 3.

The recent Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker videos blew me away even more than FF3 did. The DS really can push out quality 3d graphics.
"Isn't the music the ending theme from FF8 from when they roll the credits?"

It's the final fantasy theme... so yes... not to mention it's in the majority of the FF games.

You should definately play some more ff if you only recognize the song from FF8 (one of my least favorite ff games)

I recommend FF6. It's definately the best one.
I hope Baten Kaitos Origins' english voice acting is better than the first one's.
I still am waiting for Bangai-O for the DS.
Come on, Treasure!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
