Feb 13th 2006 10:30AM Check out FROSTWIRE.com they made an open-source adware-free version of the Limewire software. It has all the features of Limewire Pro, and can enable you a Turbo-charged connection "Guilt-free".

Limewire is a very powerful p2p (gnutella) client- with a Turbo-charged connection enabled (available with the Pro version or Frostwire) you can download at the same rate as normal http downloads.
Unfortunately, as with any other p2p client it does a major flaw, it will take up a lot of your system resources. But it's still much better than the numerous flaws with the many other p2p clients I have personally tried.
