I think there's a ".0" missing in that headline.
Remote would be "perfect" if it let you control video and other features on the AppleTV. If it's music only... not so much.
"Yes it will".... what? Only control music? So it seems. Apparently it's really just interfacing with the AirTunes feature of iTunes, which can stream music to the AppleTV, instead of with the AppleTV itself, which would have been considerably more useful.
I guess they rejected the alternate title, "The Master Debaters"...
Er...

So, I know it's been floating around the Nets for a while, but I'm pretty sure the "evil-ness" of Cate Blanchett's character is supposed to be a surprise. You guys really need to work on your system of spoiler warnings.
Did you read the entire Wikipedia article, or just look it up on reflex and scan for keywords?
It would be REALLY nice if Apple would make a plugin API for FrontRow. If Apples won't add a CableCARD slot to the Mini or iTV, at least let someone else have a go. Also, it would encourage third-party support, since other companies will have a chance to complement what Apple does instead of being replaced by them (cf. Konfabulator, many others).
I should have been an easy sell for Sony -- I'm a habitual early-adopter who was very gung-ho for both Blu-ray and the PS3, but now I plan to wait at least a year before making a decision on next-gen formats.

The original format war took place when I was too young to take notice, but for years I've joined in the chorus of lamenting the "inferior" VHS format's victory. Sony has now given us all a better context to understand why exactly they lost back then and are on track to lose again.
Boe,
There isn't an HD workflow currently in existence that needs 1080p at 60fps. HOWEVER, if you need the extra frames for slow-mo effects at a (kinda) budget price, the Panasonic HVX with P2 recording has been out for a while.
Looks awfully... thick. What are the dimensions (compared to the iPod)?

MS is bettin' big that people will get on board the sharing/collaboration wagon, but I remain skeptical. I get the feeling some execs said, "iPods are popular... MySpace is popular... let's combine them for something even more popular!"
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
