Club Bill gates? As in Canadians sometimes club seals..?
Would the paper scream when you burned it?
Leaving aside the 'minor' issue of civil liberties (oh, hell, just microchip the lot of them, why don't you, in preparation for their eternal subservience to the oh-so-wise and benevolent powers-that-be), this is a PRIMARY school, and very small kids. It'll be buggered up inside of a day or two, with mud, poster paint, plasticine,jam/jelly,bogies all over the scanner screen, the console, the walls nearby etc.
Vodafone aren't likely to release any report saying that mobiles are a bloody distraction and nuisance in many healthcare settings, are they?
"even an old man sat over half a pint of mild". Bloody hell,I'm with O2 and don't half wish that as a mobile network they'd get into the 21st century. For the real experience, you need a 'vertical' bar, alcopops,Chavs, the odd bottling, shrieking from feral packs of under-agers,dodgy bouncers, a friendly neighbourhood 'street pharmacist' with loads of pills,a sea of vomit, and the wail of police sirens (but no police in view, naturally:they're using terror laws to intimidate and harass innocent folk/soft targets).
This is just lazy repackaging by the network of pre-existing games, given a dusting down for i-mode, which is a costly waste of time, being 5+ years behind Japan and looking more and more obsolete.
Does anyone think that from that angle, it looks a wee bit like a George Foreman grill?
Why can't we have Windows 'Paneless'? (Apologies...I'll get my coat)
Sweet mecy. I thought it was bad when that ambulance-chasing company (now gone bust and under DTI investigation) in the UK sacked people by text...There are some things that do not need to be made 'modern' as the hospital defends this, and the bringing of bad news needs a human (and a humane) approach. I love technology and gadgets, but FFS.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
