Geeez guys can you possibly whine anymore?? You sound like 16 year old girls crying to there Daddy’s wanting the convertible Beetle instead of the regular one. It’s called a launch. You knew there was only going to be one freaking color, you knew there was only going to be one freaking controller and the $250 price mark has been speculated for months. Nintendo is not stupid enough to price them at $199 regardless of how less powerful it is. They are going to have a great holiday season this year and I’m sure they want to be able to take advantage of a $50 price drop (hopefully) by next Christmas. You forget business is about making money not pleasing the consumers every whining wish.
OMG! I can't take another noob comment. I DJ for a major radio station and do clubs all the time and everybody that is somebody has switched to or is switching to Serato. I use to use nothing but Vinyl and then switched to CDJ's for 2 years but now I'm back to vinyl with Serato. People only switched to CD's because it is easier to burn your own remixes and mp3's vs finding vinyl but it still wasn't the same as vinyl. Serato brings you the best of both, control of Vinyl with the convenience of your entire music library every where you go on your laptop. Long live products like Serato…….
Just buy a freakin projector for goodness sake!!!!!!!
Does it run Linux???
Whats funny is that Tech enthusiasts are suppose to be the first ones to buy these players and not normal every day consumers. But as you can already see in this forum most Techies aren't even interested in either format. Talk about a flop!! This thing hasn't even come out yet and it's already looking like the next Divxx fiasco.

Also another point, think about MP3's vs normal cd's? Which is the most popular right now and which has the higher quality of the two? MP3's are lower quality but yet consumers don't care. Quality does not matter to consumers, it's cost and availability as well as compatibility. Why switch to HD-DVD when you can rent DVD's from Netflix for $10 a month, easliy make your own back up copies, play your DVD's in your car, on your laptop, your PC, your Mac, your PS2, your Xbox, 360. Switch to HD-DVD???? Are you kidding me! It will never work, like I said quality is not important to consumers. It it was iPods would be used as paper weights.

Hey Fredus why don't you correct your Mothers grammer while your at it. She's always screaming, "Spank me Daddy! Spank me Daddy! Give me that there willy in this here fuzz box."
Im no english teacher but that just doesn't sound right you may want to help her out a bit.
Common sense tells me that Sony will still be showing the same garbage display at this years E3 that they used last year. It will be the same exact non functional and non playable prototype shell that has been on display since last year. If they had a playable and finished PS3 to display at this years E3 then that would help erase all the concerns that they don't even have a working PS3 yet. But I highly doubt they will have a working PS3 by E3 therefore making them look even worse. Can you imagine how dumb Sony will look, a year later and they are still using the same exact nonworking display!! Talk about embarrassing.
What happens if you tip it over?
Lets all go BigDog tipping!!! =O)
Did they program these things to sniff your crotch too?
Hey Hmmm and Andrew, leave me alone and go play with your vaporgirlfriends!!!!! You losers think the new super media format will be the striped round chocolate keebler cookies with the hole in the middle! Eat me....

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
