Now eat" DO NOT baby them. he is 8 years old. he has to learn that if he intentionally makes a ridiculous decision like this, he will have to suffer the consequences. But what if he refuses to eat you say? simple. say with an even tone "Well I guess that you'll have to go hungry then."
