come on ! We did you expect a 3 + year run like the razr or nokia 6133. the slide had it is 6 month run, of course after tmo sits on it for 6 months.
Plus, the sidekick is a loyal customer, a unique customer, you either love it or hate. i am sure that is why they went back to traditional small size with latest camera, keypad, etc.

Has minneapolis been turned on yet? I thought the eng folk have been swapping out base stations and radios for over a year now. I remember going to a reception last october 07 at the university of minnesota about how great the network is in minneapolis and how 3g was just around the corner. Wow how time flies.

My local starbucks is still tmo and i used it free today from tmo for 20 bucks a month including edge on my phone.

any of you guys been to your local cell phone store lately. The music centric, cheap, are still the most popular sellers. All the carriers show the fancy blackberry, htc, etc. but what is selling is the cheaper alternatives.

Charter is not a very big player in the twin cities market, comcast is the cable giant. outstate minnesota follows gophers but doesnt have the population and doesnt want to pay for the extra charges. I can tell you that i have Directv now and the hd and sd broadcast are considerably better than FSN Midwest. I dont know whats going on there the picture is grainy and terrrible.

"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
