This is the ultimate game to play with girlfriend/kids, etc. It's a masterpiece, its for creative people that love indi style stuff at its finest. It's one of the best games of this generation of my opinion, but not if you are a dude just sitting there playing it solo. Acing all the levels, finding all the stuff, creating maps with my girlfriend on a wednesday night... this game is amazing for stuff like that.

Yea man this game is such a masterpiece. LittleBigPlanet and Demon's Souls are some of the most memorable games I've played in years and years (ugh MW2's single player was such a disapointment and the multiplayer is nothing new compared to the BC2 beta).

It's really cool to see so much community support from game. So many freakin cool levels if you sort by ratings in the thing you could play forever, let alone creating stuff online with friends now.

Hit detection is great so far in the PS3 beta, and guns seem a lot better too, people die a lot faster as well.

The PS3 beta so far has been really awesome. Already put like 20 hours into it. Really really good. I just hope DICE pays attention to the suggestions/bug reports on their forums then it'll be an amazing game when it comes out.

And the games not even that good. A very short single player campaign
involving a ridiculous plot, $60 pricing, no dedicated servers,
arbitrary online player limits, no custom maps. All that plus the
fact that one player always has a zero ping advantage while everyone
else has 100ms+, making it overall probably one of the worst
multiplayer experiences I've seen in years besides the reasonably fun
gameplay.

The Bad Company 2 Beta on PS3 blows it away so far.

Not really sure how you can say it was underrated, sure the PC version was much better than the 360 version but both of the got great reviews everywhere. I'm pretty sure mostly 8.5-9.0 range. After playing the game it was just very hard to get into and not as interesting as it looked in videos, the combat system I thought was mediocre too. I think the game is definitely overrated, I would put it more at an 7.5-8.

First game was really overrated (like Assassin's Creed) and this one probably will be too as it's now just trying to be yet-another-3rd-person-shooter with RPG elements from what all those videos showed.

Yea I have no doubt BC2 will top it now. I'd have to play a demo or something of MAG before i consider getting it at this point. BC2 I'm getting for sure. I still just think Zipper shoulda stuck with Socom series it was awesome for PS2 and Slant Six ruined it.

Ugh I just missed it. Your killing me Joystiq. Luckily I'm in Bad Company 2 beta and its AWESOME. (Omg the sound effects are so immersive it's like no other game)
