It's a terrible video to watch, but stories like this do happen and innocent people (including children and babies) pay for the stupidity of some reckless people that think that things like this would never happen to them. It's probably based on a real story, but I don't know...

It's also sad to see some comments in this post... it's not even funny... I do believe this generation needs a wake up call...

I'm writing this, because I never thought people would be stupid enough to text and drive until last week when I was on I405 in LA and I saw a guy texting while driving at 55mph in very heavy traffic. I COULD NOT BELIEVE, BUT PEOPLE DO THIS!

Please, if you are reckless about your life, think that other people may want to have a chance to live a meaningful and healthy life. Not being in a wheel chair or even die because of someone's else stupidity.

PLEASE, PLAY THIS VIDEO ON AMERICAN TV!

sure... I want one.. hopefully works...
I think these devices would be a huge success if they would have a browser built in....
I still need to carry my notebook around to surf and do random research... now if you join access to a library with the web, you got a winner...
Do you think they will do that? Please, don't tell me that they fit different purposes! As of now, I do sit with my hardcopy book and a notebook nearby for random research as i said....
How can (presumed) smart people start a business on these premises? For 5 bucks and a better device this could pick up... but US$20.00 a month... and no attachments/browser capabilities.... come on...
I've tried this "Clear Scan" technology with my classic iPod, and it really does not work for more that I tried to have good conditions/locations inside the car to make it work. I used over a car trip from Chicago to Orlando without success (and a lot of irritation). Lots of static, bad quality sound, etc. I had to return it as soon as I was back. All these FM adapters are junk. Don't waste your money. You will be better off replacing the radio with something with a real ipod adapter (check the Sony XPLOD models for example).
sure. I want one
sure, I do want this nice tv!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
