...you completely missed the sense of the sentence. let me continue what you left out. "...has all but ignored the reality of how patents -- especially wireless patents -- are licensed"

they are saying that everyone blindingly hyping up the point of view that this is a bitter standoff between two companies are missing the point of what's actually going on here
"mass deleting random files has never been easier with the new snow leopard guest account feature"
easy there didnt mean to throw you into a tantrum, i was assuming it was made for dodge vipers as engadget was also mentioned dodge in the post. if it can be installed in any vehicle then the first part of my argument is invalid and i accept that (note that i'm not getting all worked up about it, you can learn something here). but what i was trying to say that if it was indeed used on a car that doesn't have a key hole, then if you go somewhere where you lose service then you can't use it to unlock your vehicle and unless you bring an actual car remote with you then you have no way of getting into your vehicle. in which case you might as well just bring a regular starter with you and use that instead

also, i live in northern ontario and in fact it was snowing today so the usefulness of a car starter is pretty familiar to me, you might have realized that when i pointed out that my remote starter does the same thing and is definitely quicker to use. it might not have the range of one you have to pay a yearly subscription fee for but it has pretty decent range imo
agreed, this seems like a very expensive novelty app that really isnt that useful

im not familiar with viper door handles but i didnt see a keyhole in some of the pictures i looked up, so if it rely's on remotes to unlock it this makes it really pointless

-as someone already pointed out, if you keep the vehicle in a garage it might not have strong enough of a signal to use to. and if vipers do indeed have no keyhole then if you go out and park the car somewhere where theres no signal and didnt keep the remote with you then you cant get in
-also if you use this app to unlock it you have to take the key out anyway to start her up (you can use the app to start it but you arent moving the car until the key is in there)
-dont forget you have to swipe to unlock the phone and open up the app before you're able to use it
-my 70$ car starter does the same thing more efficiently and has some pretty good range to it as well
isnt Panama close to the equator?
when was anything said about either location anyway?
well i was going to say that exact sentence but after you just said it yourself i don't really want to anymore. thanks for ruining it
Paul, it's pretty sad when you're trying to give everything to defend an apple product and be down-ranked all the time on a site such as engadged, as site known to have a very strong apple fanbase. To me you seem like a very miserable person. you should ask yourself if you have lots of friends, if you spend all your time just sitting at home and argueing with people you'll never meet and who will just forget about you in a few years. anyone that spends so much time arguing over a little point such as copy and paste doesnt really seem like someone who's living life, anyone can correct me if i'm wrong but that's how i see it. frankly i don't really care what your answer is or whether you're telling the truth or not because in the end, if you are miserable, it doesnt matter what you type on some blog on the internet, it's not gonna change your life and you'll still be miserable. theres no way of winning your little argument, it wont change things, Apple isnt gonna be like "well this kid being a douche to everyone on engadget likes what we're doing, let's give ourselves a pat on the back"

i got the 3GS last week and i find my LG vu implemented some features much better than the iphone does. they keyboard on the LG phone is way more elaborate and the comma and dot key's are always present and is still easy to type one. and they managed to do that on a smaller screen. whereas on the iphone you have to press two keys everytime you want to hit a comma, not to mention the send key in beejive is annoyingly located right next to the backspace key which i find very easy to miss (i know that's the app's developper's fault but for something as high in demand as an msn client apple should have done a quality inspection or something on it. the msn on the LG phone ran much better and ran fully in the background which was great until apple finally got push notifications right)

the iphone is a great product but it isn't perfect, and it was ignorant and arrogant fanboys like you that kept me from getting it until now. anyway, peace out, enjoy life if that's what you do. and not everything you believe is right, accept it. same goes to me and everyone else. if we were perfect, we wouldnt be human
there is only 1 sun and it isn't capable of becoming a black hole. it'll become a white dwarf one day and i don't even think it'll go nova let alone supernova since a white dwarf needs to steal the hydrogen from a nearby start for it to be able to cause an explosion
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
