Michael Moore's 'Sicko' tells of broken U.S. health industry {That's Fit}
May 13th 2007 10:49AM "While I don't think any country's medical system is advanced as the one Americans enjoy".
You seriously need to travel more, say, to Scandinavia (any country out there will do) or The Netherlands.
Nevertheless, a country can have all the medical gizmos in the world, it is still utterly ineffective, outrageous and 19th century to limit its access to a mere fraction of the population.
Greatest Living Filmmakers United for Secret Cannes Project {Cinematical}
Feb 9th 2007 4:49AM I happen to know one of the directors involved, and if what I'm hearing is correct, they are asked to film a special place, a cinema or something that embodies their vision of the movies.
The Truth About Hybrids {Autoblog}
Feb 8th 2006 7:37AM I'm not from the US and I need an explanation. Is "Liberal" considered an insult over there? Care to explain?
Even more supposed invites to the Feb. 22nd event {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Feb 7th 2006 7:48AM I must say I'm fed up too with all these bogus invites. Even I can tell they are fake. The added value of a blog is the input of its writers. There's clearly none in this case. The argument "I let you decide" does no hold, as what I expect from you guys is at least a little bit of selection.
You know this is a topic where a lot of bullshi?is going on, failing to do something equals maintaining (poorly) a forum. No hard feelings but get your act together, this is not why people read blogs.
If you can't do this, at least stop relaying the fake crapola and wait for an official PR release to break the news.
Wishing you all the best...
Sony Ericsson's M600 3G tri-band GSM cellphone {Engadget}
Feb 6th 2006 10:02AM I personally like it as much as I hate sucky cameras that take space and increase the price of a cellphone. If I want to take pictures, I get a compact camera. I'd like a side by side comparison with the p990 though.
If it's cheaper than the P990, I'm buying this thing.
Apple Special Event - Feb 22nd - Airport Video? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Feb 6th 2006 5:09AM I'm sorry, but TUAW has a responsibility. I can only guess you guys have quite a wide reader base, so you cannot post all the fakes going around, even poorly hidden behind some sort of lousy disclamer.
If you can't manage to sort the good info from the bad, you will lose readers.
Until today, I somewhat thought you were one the good side of the news...
Bill O'Reilly thinks Colbert Report is a compliment {TV Squad}
Feb 6th 2006 5:05AM O'Reilly is such a douche. First he criticizes Colbert (when he was guest on the Daily Show), then, when he (finally) realizes it's some sort of publicity, he embraces it and add this to his credit.
Although Colbert's show is funny in it's own right (it's a comedy show), O'Reilly's tireless tirades and shameless appropriation of issues occasionnally make me laugh.
War on Christmas... still laughing. Can't wait next year.

Rig of the Day: World's thinnest desktop {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Feb 4th 2006 8:37AM This is actually a brilliant idea for a computer built in the keyboard. I'm ashamed I didn't think of it by myself.
Weinsteins snubbed Sundance debut for Clerks 2 {Cinematical}
Feb 4th 2006 8:34AM I think it has to do with international sales of the picture. if you premiere it in Cannes, you get way more chances to sell it abroad than in Sundance. If american distribution is already dealt with, all you have to do is try to have a spot in Cannes and it will sell like hot cakes on the market. To me, W is just trying to make the most out of the film. I certainly don't blame them for that.
