that thing sounds awesome! i love the tweetdeck idea, and i'd probably also use it as a mini-display for things like itunes, or maybe mail.app (depending on how readable it is on the tiny screen!).
@iphonerulez and Templarian

wow, didn't know that the Pre had been released yet. good to hear you guys have had so much time to play with it and test out the battery life. can't wait for the rest of the world to get it, besides you two.

the trick with the single button trackpad is to download the latest drivers for it from apple.com - they updated them in mid-december i think, and the difference is pretty vast.
definitely auto-focusing in movie mode, and on that note a better microphone, but beyond that, i'm loving it. the screen's gorgeous, and the picture quality is spectacular, and like Jonathan said above, the thing feels so solid holding onto it. definite A.
mirroring what slevin said above me, awaken does in fact have many of the features that you describe it as lacking, ie, an egg timer. i highly recommend the app, and wish you'd get its specs right!
I guess this applies to the changes in the draft-n specs?
totally the 150 incher!
the bubble-armor scene at the end where leo dies :( great movie!

"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
