I just bought my 360 and I registered to Live last night. Bad idea.

I had problems downloading the patch. But it continued where it left off every time I restarted, so evetually I made it through. But the connection problems are still there. I normaly don't get to stay connected to Live for more than 30 seconds.

No on-line play for me. No downloads or demos.
And I'm not eve sure it's the patch doing it, since I never tried my box beforehand.

Awaiting answer from support in Sweden.
So, exactly how much is swedish about this product?

The more difficult they make it for the average consumer, the more consumers are going for pirated movies and music. Just look at Sony! It's all downhill for those companies not willing to adapt.
@ reguy

The games are $50, not $60. But hey, no biggie.

Where have you seen this technology before? I would say that N are the only ones developing new gameplay. The others are just upping the power. Anyone can do that.

And, yes, it DOES have dolby (ProLogicII). Which actually is quite good. It retains audio quality better than both DD and DTS since it doesn't use any compression (though channel separation is alot worse).
@ Jerm

Who said anything about graphics?

When you buy a 360 and/or PS3 you pay to get good graphis. Thus, if the graphics suck, you get pissed off.
When you buy the Wii, you pay less for better gameplay - not graphics.

You happy! Me Happy! Wii happy! Together!
I'm so hyped up about this, I'm about to burst into flames. *poof!*
I've had (still having) playback problems with earlier versions as well. It's strange they don't give you the option to select which souncard/output you want to use. Also, there are no buffer/driver settings.

I turned to Winamp instead. And you know what? Even though Winamp has the functionality, I don't need it. Because it simply works =)

Why do you think it says "Special Event Oct 05" in the adress?
As posted above:

I keep getting "Not found" message. I guess Quicktime is not up to the task of streaming video. 8)
@ Ogive
I sure would like to know what you're driving.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
