I have seen this one a lot. I manage 300 Blackberrys for my company, and this has occured probably 30 times in 2 years.
Running app loader is the only solution. You will lose all data on the handheld also.
Perform a security wipe of the handheld. Then reactivate using wireless Enterprise Activation. (You will need your BES admin to issue you a password). The UID usually gets messed up because the Desktop Software was installed incorrectly, then synced with the handheld. If you are running 4.0 or greater, quit using the Desktop Software.
Please pick me fellas.
Not sure why, but it is well into the afternoon and I am the 2nd to post. Looks like the odds are good for me!
Please pick me! I need free stuff!
If the Blackberrys go down I am screwed. I administrate 300 of these devices, and loading a workaround that can't be done OTA is ridiculous.
I am screwed!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
