I just use FairMount. That way you can use the 32-bit version of VLC with the 64-bit version of Handbrake
In Halifax we do, at least: http://digitalmedia.halifaxpubliclibraries.ca/ I imagined other big cities would have it as well!
We have had this in Canada for quite a while now too. Well, it was mostly Adobe Digital Editions but now they're becoming available in epub format, too.
Go watch one of wacom's videos. They say "WHACK-em".

Which is the confusing part... "WAY-com" sounds much more logical and intelligent.
Yes, you always could put apps on two devices - up to 5 authorized computers, actually!
Same here... loving our 550 too. Now THAT's the price level to get a Harmony in every home, at least at the start. Once you realize how great it is, the $149 doesn't seem like that much anymore.
It's $399 now at most places (same as US, AFAIK), so you never know.
@seanlindo06 There is no refresh rate on e-ink devices. Or, rather, the refresh happens only on page turns, not many times per second. So basically, it's terrible no matter how much you pay :)

I'm willing to pay more than $100 as long as it has wifi, SD card, and LOTS of formats. As it gets toward $200 I always think I can get another device that does much more.
My roommate had one. Pinky & the Brain had an episode where they said "Grab your Newton, desk jockey, we're goin' sub hunting!" I teased him relentlessly after that.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
