dynamic bicycles offers shaft-drive 9-gear bikes and offroad bikes for $500.

supposedly CLEAR, non-acetone based nail polish remover may remove almost all staining. give it a shot.

DON'T USE TINTED ACETONE OR ISOPROPYL BASED CHEMICALS.

no other cleaning methods have worked. give this one a shot if your macbook is discoloring.
oh, my paper was presented at CHI 2006.
"If you included 20+ aftermarket programs that will be in Ultimate into OS X then you would be able to compare the functionality of the two, and then the cost's would be equal"

you mean like, iPhoto, Garageband, iMovie, iDVD, iWeb, PhotoBooth, XCode? ya if they included that stuff with OSX it'd be really ... expensive... oh, wait. well i'm sure all of that software is included with ULTIMATE VISTA ... oh, wait.

the software bundled with OSX is so good that paul thurrott wished microsoft could bundle such good software with windows.
http://www.connectedhomemag.com/HomeOffice/Articles/Index.cfm?ArticleID=49259

so to recap:

i can get OSX which comes bundled with software MS wishes it could create, with all the features Vista promised (but dropped), for $129. oh but wait, Leopard is almost out. in three months, for $129, i can get all the features microsoft will be promising 4+ years from now in addition to great bundled software microsoft can't seem to copy.
$1500 for that? sure. yet it's the $1099 macbook that's 'too expensive.' laff.
this looks like a fantastic research project that they tried to make into a product. it's a great way for us to reflect on the current digital interface paradigms but doesn't work as a product.

as research? fascinating, fantastic.

as a product? not realistic. wasted on the mindless consumer.

come on guys, stick to teaching academics and not trying to convince these morons why they should buy a book to listen to the radio. the average consumer simply won't understand the implications of this device.
apple makes some great products, but i thought that leather nano case was the stupidest thing ever.

i stand corrected: this "italian leather" hifi cover is now, officially, the stupidest fucking thing ever.
as promised, here's the link that shows apple striking a deal that earns them 35% per song. again, this is not PROFIT. 35% is what they earn. their profit would be what they earn MINUS what the spend in order to sell a song. they do not make 35% PROFIT as i stated before.

o rly: your wish is my command :)

market share of ALL mp3 players. up from 45% in 2004 to 60% in 2006, despite unfounded legal battles.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/03/05/AR2006030500711.html

w.r.t. profit:
35% = 34.65cents - operating costs - r&d - marketing != 35%. you do know how math works right? hell i'll even link to an article showing that they make 35%. of COURSE i'm not denying that they "make" 35% but that figure isn't relevant without looking at what they spend to house and create software and s ecurity to sell the files that earn them 35%. nice misdirection, though.

the comment about mercer was in quotes CLEARLY illustrating that i didn't write it. you do know about quoting another source, using..... well, quotes, right? not to mention the quote text was properly capitalized while my posts are not. i used quotes, as i was quoting someone else. again, nice attempt at misdirection.

now to quote you:
"The bar was surpassed in features, build quality, and sound quality a while ago. Brand recognition is an important factor here, not how low the market leaders "bar" is.
" -your post (wouldn't want you to think i was saying this myself)

facts? links? your idea that the bar is low is your subjective opinion and is not a fact.

facts != opinion.

nice try! =)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
