BRUTES! but I would still be able to take one down with my fists of fury.
I'm hoping that a comment gets you into this contest. I really want that HDTV! or if you gys hav an iriver clix 2! But, I TOTALLY want, if you guys have it, A 24inch ALUMINUM iMAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOO LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!! AND MEE!!!!!!!
The deal is over. Dammit!
WTF engadget, this ISN'T the 4th gen iMac, it's only a revision to the former, which is why it should be called the iMac 3.5 gen. Come on, if you guys call it that, everyone will. It's all up to you. Let's make Apple start "thinking different" and make them make better more revoulutionary designs.
I'm not saying it's not a great computer, but the design doesn't set it self far enough from the previous. To be a pure gen, 4 iMac, I think it would have to be pretty much a Cinema Display with a computer built in. Pure aluminum, built in iSight, and no Jay Leno chin. (i hate the term Jay Leno chin too, but I don't know what else to call it). And trust me, gen. 5 is gonna be touch screen. Then I don't what's gonna follow that, maybe a pop-out 3D screen???
Please Engadget, Let's call this the iMac (3.5 gen). You have to agree with me, I mean yeah, it's thinner, better processors and crap, and black/aluminum, but to really call it a 4th gen, it has to be a substantial and revolutionary design - which is hardly what this is. The g3 (which is what I'm using right now) was so revolutionary and powerful. Then the new g4 came in to play, with it's LCD screen, it was awesome. Then the g5/Intel, with it's pure LCD screen and built in iSight was freakin awesome. I know Apple can and will do better than this iMac. I'm not complaining, so I don't want to hear Fanboys telling me that this is a great system (which it is), but I hope you can agree with me and let this iMac be known as the iMac gen 3.5, not quite revolutionary enough to be a 4th gen.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
