"drops" is not correct-- it does not mean what the blurb writer thinks it means. not sure how the engadget folks got hooked on this usage, but it's wrong.
7. Philips Norelco 7240XL

I have used Brauns for a few years and my last one just died. Going under the blade can be fun (with the sink and goop and everything), but driving-while-shaving must be safer than driving-while-[anything else]-- it's done by feel and sound.

I'd be happy to submit a 250-500 word review (complete with photos) in exchange for the joys of ownership of this lovely unit.

Thanks!

These MacBook polls are totally irresponsible. The choices offered are leading and validate unconfirmed reports. I know dozens of people with MacBooks-- Pros and "regulars"-- and nobody has experienced any of these problems. On top of that, my 12" G4 PowerBook gets *very* hot on the bottom and will crash if it's not well ventilated, and it's nearly three years old. STOP THE MACBOOK HYSTERIA!
This "article" has an INNACTURATE TITLE. The quote is OUT OF CONTEXT.

MOD POSTER DOWN.
I know lots of folks with Windows Mobile smartphones, but nobody considers themself a "fan" of the system. I've known a few people to return them, too, since it was too hard for them to do seemingly simple things. Where did the Xbox-360 usability team go?!
I'd love to hear users' experience with the glossy screen when it's outside on a cloudless day, ideally side-by-side with other companies' glossy screens...:) Anyone? Beuller?
WHY is the original, inaccurate text still on Engadget's front page? Good luck getting into those Sony events in the future...:o
This doesn't appear to have much to do with AppleCare specifically. The guy found himself at a dead end and needed to get a new job, and chose to blame other people for his bad experience at his last job. Sounds pretty common to me-- I'm working on my resume right now...:)
1) duh
2) this does not help for charging your iPod using a spare USB port on a Linux box, power adapter, or powered hub-- in those cases, there is no iTunes, and no mounted iPod to eject.
Mod (10) -1: douchebag.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
