Great video and concept but as soon as I realized the crowd sounds were pulled from RCT I was a little disappointed.
I almost wish I DID have a glossy display, so that I wouldn't be able to read your ridiculous fanboyish comments.

PS. we aren't the only haters, hater. We just hate different things.
not much real news to report on today eh, engadget?
MS is definitely not still pushing for HD-DVD. The format is dead and the factories have stopped production. NOBODY is backing it now.
no you do not need to buy any laptop bags from the TSA, as the TSA is not selling any. The new rules simply stipulate what style of laptop bag shouldn't need to have the laptop removed. There is no "TSA-certified" or other sticker/logo/anything else that comes on acceptable bags. If the TSA personnel wants you to remove the laptop from the bag, they can still require you to do so, regardless of the bag style.
I have one of these on order right now. Should be here in the next week or so :)
If you want one right now, check out Versalaser (been around for a number of years now, same price point as Zing). www.versa-laser.com
Lamp, he was referring to a mac OWNING an iPhone.

I may be wrong but I think I saw this or a similar system a few years back. If I remember correctly it was exactly the same. I'm not totally sure this is anything new.
Birds might also not get shocked due to the insulation on the wire.... but I guess that depends on what the power lines are like in your area.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
