Yes you seem to be.
Not enough, he should go to prison and have his ass pounded by guys who don't agree with beating up women.
I use macs mostly and I also nowadays use Nokia N82, and I love them all. But I don't like fanbois at all, and Apple sort of pisses me off with the way they behave. Nokia as a company seems much more humane, although of course they are in it for the money, too. I know S60's ease of use is probably not as slick as iPhone's (I've never used an iPhone) but from what I've read and heard iPhone is pretty closed system, where it's Apple saying what one can do with it. I've pretty much enjoyed my N82 and found all the apps I've needed for it.

Nobody probably cares but I just wanted to inform that I've now let Engadget go from my RSS-feeds because your constant Nokia-bashing makes absolutely no sense. Like an earlier commenter said not all of your readers come from the US (and neither do I) where Nokia is not as big as Apple is. As a user of both manufacturers' products I find it contradicting to constantly read posts that sound like they were written by a fundamentalist who just is unable to say anything good about someone who might be competing with their own religion, and of course in this case it's Apple. Even if you don't manage to slip the word 'Apple' or 'iPhone' into the articles you find a sneaky way to belittle the competition in some way. Well, I've had enough of that.

And a bit more about my stance on Apple: I've used their computers for about 15 years now, but the last computer I bought was a pc. I did buy Leopard for it because I don't like Windows and most of my bought software was mac-only, and I'm happy now. I can play games in Vista when I want and then come back to Leopard and do graphic design and 3D in it. I'm absolutely happy that I'm not completely dependent on Apple anymore, and of course I got my 4-core computer with half the price of about similarly spec'd Mac. I could've bought a Mac but I'm not too fond of Apple anymore, and eventhough it shouldn't matter I don't like to consider myself to be one of the Apple fanbois. As other fundamentalists do they make me feel sick, too.
Why am I getting these Apple news in my non-Apple rss feeds? I wanted gadget news without the endless Apple tidbits, and so I changed my feeds to non-Apple ones. But apparently Engadget insists on informing us every time Jobs wipes his a$$.
I wonder why this story is showing up in my non-Apple rss-feed?
People here are talking like Apple would be any different from the record labels, and not doing it only for the money. Oh please, Apple has never been in the business for charity, since Apple is about Jobs and not about Wozniak, which probably is better for the profit but not for the soul.

Personally I wish Apple would just concentrate on makings macs (hardware+software) better and stay out of the content business. There must be other things to innovate besides making the dock have a mirror underneath it. I love my macs, but I don't love Apple.
I actually find the aesthetics kinda hot. I like the shapes and the metal, they come together nicely. I'm not too hot on the numeric buttons, but maybe they are okay. At least they didn't look too high/bulging on the video.
The whole thing smells like a pr-move.
Of course people in Apple's forums are happy. If you haven't been around long enough to notice then I have to inform you that Apple's people routinely remove posts they feel don't belong there. Many of those removed posts are criticizing Apple.

My post has nothing to do with iPhone, and I have no idea about Apple's policy at the moment in their user forums. I'm just saying what I've seen during the years.
I pretty much agree with Jeff Lewis' take on things about different sections here.

Personally I've always been a mac user (although I have used Windows at work) and I might've even been a bit of a fanboy with the first couple of macs I owned. I visited the mac forums daily and well, I didn't mind the fanboy-dom for a few years. But slowly the whole "Steve is our God" mentality really started to piss me off. I mean come on, he's a salesman, and some people are smiling like idiots pouring him money if he just asks for it. That's not to say I don't appreciate all the things Jobs and Apple's other workers have delivered us during the years, since I think that Mac OS has done so much good for the user friendliness in the computer.

I've got 3 macs now, not pc's at all. I've had to stop reading the mac forums and many mac sites because I'm so embarrassed of the fanboys, I just don't want to feel that I'm part of a group of people who think so higly of themselves. But don't get me wrong, there are loads of really nice mac people who are just friendly and nice. I guess it's the teens and the zealots that just are so vocal.

I'm not too crazy about Jobs'/Apple's wish for a world dominance. To me Apple has been a computer company with a great OS. I understand that change is happening because all different kinds of gadgets are getting smarter all the time. But I'm not sold on Apple's idea that everything that they do is as magnificent as OS 7-9 was when compared to Windows at the time.

Times change, and Apple has changed. It's just becoming a new Sony but with a cult like following. For a reason I don't really understand anymore.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
