I love this, the layout seems good enough, although the design could be touched up, and it's not that expensive, plus the extra portability is always a plus, and you'll have more self-esteem if you do it right. My verdict, do this if you're cheap!
haha, i thought it was gonna be about the new, SSD-based DS
most likely we'll have a Win7 Basic which will have DX10, and possibly a "Premium" version which will have DX11, Ultimate will probably have DX11 as well, and if this doesn't happen, we'll get it in a service pack, or update, as with Vista and DX10.1.
I would bring it back to the store, get a slingbox, and sync it w/ my pc/mac.
Finally, now, we just need to wait, for the beta SP1, then for SP1, then for pre-beta SP2, then for beta SP2, then for SP2, then for Vienna. Shouldn't take too long, i still love MS though for trying.
Amen to that. However, i was thinking an SLI / Crossfire Setup. couple of ATI Radeon HD 2600s. Just a suggestion.
yeah, really, and besides, shouldn't apple have done this in their last Mac Pro, or are they really just now seeing the trend. Alienware has had this for what, like 2, 3 years now.
That's the reason why the 360 has a fairly large hard drive, so you wouldn't have the pain of having discs for everything.
One word... Metroid.
Ya, I'm actually gonna have to agree w/ you on this one, I mean, saying that a competing company is failing, then, just a few hours later saying that your going to resign, that's just bad. Don't get me wrong though, I still love MS.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
