Yeah, it wasn't what everyone was expecting.
Look, whenever an event takes place in Apple Town Hall or whatever, don't go to it because it won't be a big product announcement.

April people, April.
I think Apple should have an area on iTunes where you can post your own songs, and possibly sell them. Basically, they have it covered by Podcasts, but still.
I think that really, Apple is great. The directors are the same, but there is a small detail. The Postal Service dosen't really have the "Rights" to the video. They didn't produce, direct, or design it. Most likely the full team from the video helped Apple. I would consider the commercial a Parody of the music video. According to something I read about Weird Al along time ago, you have the right to parody any video or song without permission.
I wanted a redesign, but it is okay.

And the title comes from Seinfeld from the Soup Nazi.

I don't care about the PSP, because I just don't like it. If Nintendo redesigned the DS, it could have attracted more buyers.
Can somebody define "Linux Based" for me?
Do you have to have Linux to run it?
I actually liked the Newton and I still have one. They are great PDAs and they had features way before PALM devices did. The operating system is great, and finally you can run it on other hardware.

To answer a question:
I do remember seeing a version of QUAKE avaliable to download on a Newton. I don't know about Doom though.
I still have my Newton and it is really cool. Not only do I like the OS, but I also like the apps that run on the OS. A small number of people attend the Newton Conference. Last year, around 30 people went.

The Newton is still functional. Through the people who still develop for the Newton, it has brought us Web Browsers, GPS apps, and, really, just cool stuff. The people who hold it are really smart Developers.

The Newton Platform is alive and well. It isn't dead. A Newton never dies, it just gets new batteries (Or however that saying goes)
Every year around Macworld, Steve usually releases more hardware than what he released this year. I was surprised there wasn't a revision to the iPod (Like an iSight camera placed in it). I was also surprised that he had no new gadgets availible. Most of the Keynote was about the software, which he was very uncomfortable in showing off.

I will wait until April 1st for real news.
"Obsolete" does not sound like Steve but, "A MILLION SONGS!" "A MILLION SONGS!" Does.
The Screen Savers had a better format than Attack of the Show does now. Sarah and Kevin weren't fired, but Alex and everybody else (Yoshi) who was great. Now, Kevin Rose is gone (He was my favorite because he was more knolageable in tech than games) and now we are left with the other Kevin and Sarah (Sarah seems to be turning into a mini-version of Kevin P..

"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
