Typical DRM tail wagging the dog.
I submit that AT&T is not part of America but obviously lives in a place where they make up the rules themselves. Similar to the Guantanamo Bay detention camp.

(chuckle)
Yeah I have to agree,

Slingmedia + Echostar/Dish TV = ALARMING!

Slingmedia + Echostar + AT&T = UNWANTED!!!

AT&T + ANYTHING = UNWANTED!!!
Dear thepudding.com,

die in a fire.
but does she put out?
I have to agree. If I were Microsoft I wouldn't develop anything with the very draconian Cablelabs. I assure you, I can build a far better/more quiet/cheaper HTPC than any of these stupid "certified" integrators.

Loosers. No money for joo!
Beware of people approaching you with garden sheers.
I'm still hooked on Battlefield: 2142. Damn that game is a blast!
Have to agree with Pingspike. #1 way to assure I wont buy something... put anything from "Real" in the product.

I almost dislike Real as much as I dislike Sony. ALMOST!
WHO CARES!

Seriously, Universal is just another 600 pound gorilla. You do not need their product anyway.

Support your local music scene. That way, YOU control exactly where your money goes.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
