I'll take one of these! :P
Definitely could use a TV. Living without one sucks. :(
Why not get it on Blu-Ray?
This will be replacing a very crappy Fossil watch that has barely stood up a year.
Ironically... when I clicked to enter the contest from this link, I happened to win a Wii. Thanks Joystiq!
Actually, backups are legitimate if you own the original software. We're given that right under "fair use". Unfortunately, what this does do, is that it opens up the doorway for piracy.
"There's a pretty famous science fiction book that has a theme of trinity relationships, of which name escapes me for some reason."

You're thinking of Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C. Clarke.
Indeed. And they picked an excellent manga to show off the new technology!

Fist of the North Star is awesome.
I think the point that FLASH is trying to make is that the price of the cheap PS3 model is going to be less than the Xbox 360 and the HD-DVD addon and be reasonably close to the price of the expensive PS3 model.

Furthermore the Xbox 360 won't be supporting HD-DVD games. (because Microsoft would be alienating everyone who didn't buy the drive) So they are stuck at using DVD media for games. 9 GBs of storage for games versus 25 to 50 GBs.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
