"we want to work with all our partners." - does that mean Microsoft and HTC have fallen out and that's why they're not promoting the HD2?
Going from 720p to 480p reduces your texture size by 62% - not far off what Joystiq speculated was required but still not enough to squeeze it in to 40MB.
Does anyone have any idea where to buy this DRM-free music? I've been buying 2 EMI albums a month since they went DRM free and I want to buy some Universal but it's completely invisible on the Rhapsody and Amazon sites and the gbox.com site is some kind of travesty.
Sony aren't cutting the price of the PS3 in the U.S. either. According to David Reeves (SCEE president) they won't be selling the 60GB model after they sell out at the end of July - the 80GB will be the only one available.

So the current 499 60GB is just selling old stock off. Buy one quick if you want one.
If you look at the profile of the phone in the episode you'll see it's an Iridium-9500. They've just stuck a fake touchscreen interface on the front that I guess is just a mockup an artist made based on Windows Mobile and iPhone photos.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
