In most parts of the country making $75,000 year is a lot of money. However, in most parts of the country you don't to pay at least $1,200 a month in rent. It's really an apples and oranges comparison.

There are people in parts of the world that think $5 an hour is a lot of money, but that's only because it's relative to the cost of living.

I saw someone playing a kart racing game on one today and the graphics were way better then a PSOne. A PS2 may be a bit of a stretch but I was impressed.

Why is this guy complaining in the first place? Does he think Microsoft owes him something?

Great, now all they have to do is add a 400 pound machine gun turret on top, complete with remote control!

I actually think Space Giraffe is a lot of fun. It took a good 30 minutes or so to get used to, but after that I had a blast with it.

I think the problem here is it is a deep game that can easily be dismissed as a Tempest clone. Most people probably just play it for 5 minutes and don't it the time that it requires to get up the learning curve.

Do free games make you sad?

This is the first and only game that has ever given me monition sickness, and I have been playing video games since the 2600.
I got a change to play Space Giraffe this morning for 30 minutes. I can see why people are put off by it, but its probably because it has a steep learning curve. Its not something that you can just pick up and play.

By the end of my 30 minutes I was really starting to have fun with it.

While I think you made a great post, the advancement of technology tends to be a one way street. Rather then fight any technological advancement, whatever it may be, I think we need to learn to embrace it and instead help influence the role that it plays in our lives.

You don't need an HD DVD player to watch HD movies on the 360. You can simply download them from the Xbox live marketplace.

And if you want to compare apples to apples, the Elite comes with 40 GB more of storage space.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
