Dude, that things must be insanely heavy compared to a 14.1" luggable laptop. I couldn't really see anyone wanting to carry that thing around, unless they are built like Arnold Swarzzenegger. Dude, I hate carrying my 14.1" around UCLA with my books. Anyways, you have to run server software on there. When are we gonna see this new 2 socket desktop motherboard Intel has been promising? I would love to run 2 Quad Core CPU's, as long as I can do so in Vista. However, I can't find any info stating if Vista is capable of doing so. With the Q6600 dropping to $266 soon, it's about time they release a dual socket motherboard that supports those CPU's and is Vista capable.
Dude, seriously! HP needs to pull themselves together and start shipping the new NVIDIA GPU with their 14.1" notebooks. Also, what the hell is with the new laptops running with an 800MHz FSB with PC2-5300 RAM? Hello, where is DDR3, or at least PC2-6400 for notebooks. Dual channel mode of PC2-6400 would run at 12.8GB/s, whereas the current PC2-5300 runs only at 10.6GB/s in dual channel. Geeze!!! Lastly, HP seriously, where the hell is the option for 100GB 7200RPM HD's? At least give us that, since it's been on the market for more than 1.5 years!!!
I wonder how that will compare to Samsung's current plasma offerings that currently have 1080p with 15,000:1 contrast? I was hoping we would have those 50,000:1 constrast ratio's that were showcased last year by now.
Uhhh, hello!!!! Kingston has had DDR2 PC2-9600 for some time now. Wow! Get your facts right people. You can get a 2GB kit of DDR2 1200Mhz Non-ECC CL5 (KHX9600D2K2/2G) for $309.39 at: http://www.compuvest.us/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=227183
P.S. No one cares anyway since DDR3's launch is imminent.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
